Target Center 600 1st Avenue North, Minneapolis, MN, 55403

The NBA team Minnesota Timberwolves takes Target Center as home to its games. Other teams play at the arena including the WNBA team Minnesota Lynx, the LFL team Minnesota Valkyrie. The arena used to be home to the arena football team Minnesota Fighting Pike as well as the Roller Hockey team Minnesota Arctic Blast. The UFC 87: Seek and Destroy was hosted at the arena in 2008 in which the Jon Fitch lost to Georges St-Pierre. The Winter Wonder Slam Tour has been hosted in the arena and the event was highly attended.

The arena was owned to the Timberwolves when it was just built in 1990, and 5 years later, Minneapolis City bought the arena and the Ogden Entertainment started to manage it, and later in 2000, the SFX took the management. 4 years later, the Midwest Entertainment Group became the manager of Target Center. AEG Facilities turned over management in May 2007.

The arena has been renovated in 2004, and the seats increased and the old ones replaced. Also, the lower bowl was reconfigured to make Target Center friendlier. The original scoreboard of the arena was also replaced, and installed new video systems. Bull Riders events have stopped by the arena in 2003 and 2006 as part of the Built Ford Tough Series event. It also hosted the NBAA All-Star Game in 1994, and in 1995, the Final Four of NCAA Women’s was organized there.
